From 17 to 19 May, Barco will again be attending ITEC to demonstrate its latest innovations for the training and simulation market. As a technology leader with a growing installed base of high-quality projectors in training and simulation environments around the world, we cherish the opportunity that ITEC gives us to demonstrate how great image and great sound can add value to training sessions. The stars of our booth: our new F-series projector combined with our innovative immersive 3D sound system.

The ultimate immersive experience
ITEC is the place to be for representatives of the training, education and simulation sectors. Visitors to the Barco booth (D120) will see a great demo set-up of our new F90 projector – the first in our new family of 4K UHD laser-phosphor projectors for the simulation market. As part of this set-up, they will also experience the incredible sound enabled by our innovative audio system for simulation (using Barco’s IOSONO CORE audio processor for immersive sound experiences). We’re confident the set-up will convince them that high-fidelity audio coupled with high-quality visuals adds value to training.

Working with technology partners
As usual, we will be working closely with many of our partners at our booth and on the show floor. At the booth, project:syntropy will perform the auto-calibration, seamlessly blending our two F90-4K13 projectors on a screen provided by Milestone AV Technologies. The database shown is provided by Diamond Visionics using Genesis RTX – Virtual Worlds in Real Time. Set-up and support are handled by Antycip Simulation while Audiokinetic’s Wwise creates the interactive audio. F50 series – the world’s most compact, high-resolution, lamp-based projector
Barco will also stage its F50 WQXGA projector in portrait mode to illustrate its flexibility and advantages in applications that require a larger vertical field of view (VFOV). Our compact F50 projector has found its way to numerous customers over the past few years, including the Polish Ministry of Defense, which deployed it in their new SNIEZNIK simulator – a stationary simulator that AUTOCOMP MANAGEMENT designed to prepare soldiers for their missions.
