The LA-397 hearing loop cable is a 16 gauge stranded copper cable with a colored outer jacket that is installed in an area in a specific layout i.e. simple perimeter loop or more complex phased array loop. The cable allows the loop drivers to drive the current to transmit an electromagnetic field allowing the audio to be picked up by the telecoils (t-coil) in hearing aids.
