Permits users without T-coil equipped hearing aids to listen in induction loop equipped facilities. Contrary to popularly disseminated information, facilities which install induction loop assistive listening systems must still comply with applicable minimum supplied receiver requirements. The MI-2 readily meets these standards and is compatible with any stereo headphone equipped with a 3.5mm plug and any mono headphone equipped with a two pole mono or three pole "dummy" stereo(tip/ring +; sleeve -) 3.5mm plug. It is not compatible with mono devices wired with TRS plug (Tip +/Ring -/Sleeve NC).
