GRASS VALLEY, CA,  9 June 2015 - Ensemble Designs has added a Picture-in-Picture option to members of its NXT line of Compact Routers. The new PiP-Efx feature is available on the NXT 410-H, 430-X, and 450 models. Visit the Ensemble booth at InfoComm 2015 for a hands-on demonstration of this powerful new feature.

PiP-Efx adds a dynamic effects tool that is completely integrated into these already powerful routers. It allows any two input signals to be combined into a single output. The web interface provides fully adjustable crop, size, and position controls for each of the signals. Choices for backgound matte color,and borders around the two images are provided.  

The complete configuration of the PiP-Efx output can be captured in a preset. Presets can be recalled from the web interface, through GPI inputs, and from the new 5835 Action Control Panel.

The PiP-Efx signal is can be routed to any output of the NXT Router -- just like any other source. Image scaling is performed by Ensemble's award-winning digital processing technology. It allows signals of different formats and frame rates to be combined together. Proprietary signal filtering means that even a small portion of an input signal can be re-sized and it will still look great.
