Comprehensive Technical Group, LLC, a systems integrator for the entertainment, audiovisual and IT markets, announced today the appointment of Rob Kakareka as its new Channel Outreach and Business Development Representative, effective immediately. 

Kakareka joins the Sales Department and will be focused on developing project opportunities for CTG in the areas of audiovisual and IT solutions.  He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry.      

Most recently, Rob worked at AVID Technologies Inc. as a Marketing Development Manager.  There, he successfully sold AVID Graphics Systems (AGS) throughout the eastern United States.  In addition, he grew the company customer base with expanded penetration into new markets.  The company was selected to do work at major television networks, sporting arenas and sports marketing companies.  Prior to working at AVID Technologies, Kakareka worked for Technical Innovation and Leggett & Platt.  Early in his career he worked at CTG.    

Commenting on the appointment Jim Lee, Sales Manager for CTG says, “Rob brings a wealth of industry-related experience to CTG. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship, based on aligning Rob’s product knowledge and extensive contacts with CTG’s resources and expertise.”
