The 980 HDMI 2.0 Video Generator module provides over 600 standard video timings and 300 test patterns necessary for testing HDTVs including tests for HDMI protocols such as HDCP and EDID. The module has an LPCM sine wave generator which can be configured to output a user defined sampling rate, bit depth, amplitude and frequency. You can configure the list of format timings and test patterns using the Format List Editor and Image List Editor. These convenient tools facilitate and quick access during testing. The module provides a Format Editor for creating custom format timings or for quickly making modifications to existing timings for testing. The 980 HDMI 2.0 Video Generator module offers a variety of features for testing HDMI protocols. The EDID Decode feature enables you to examine the contents of the EDID of the connected HDMI 2.0 sink or display in human readable text. The HDCP verification utility enables you to verify a sink’s response to HDCP authentication. The SCDC Decode feature enables you to view the current register settings of the SCDC.
