The DQ Series of Advanced System Amplifiers represent the ultimate power solution for EM Acoustics products – a state-of-the-art Class D multi-channel amplifier, combined with unique DSP technology in one neat, reliable package ideally suited to both touring and installation applications. EM Acoustics’ products have always required minimal DSP use for correct operation – generally all is required are limiters and protection high/low pass filters. However, with systems such as HALO Compact where DSP for the system is required, the DQ Series was the logical step forwards. Three models are available within the range, the DQ6, DQ10 and DQ20. Each of these models have identical form factors, and differ only in their output powers – 4 x 1500W for the DQ6, 4 x 2500W for the DQ10, and 4 x 5000W for the DQ20. The DQ Series ships with presets for all EM Acoustics products pre-installed, but also with blank memory slots for users to create their own preset data. DQ Series amplifiers have a full compliment of input options – analog, AES digital, or Dante networked audio – to ensure maximum flexibility in any situation. User-accessible DSP settings include delay, gain and EQ to ensure all system processing can be done within the amplifier – either from the front panel using the high contrast LCD screen, or via the proprietary remote control software. All inputs are presented on XLR connectors (with link output connectors) and outputs are presented on NL4 connectors. RJ45 connectors are provided for remote control and Dante primary/secondary, and mains power is provided on a 32A Powercon connector.
