Technical Innovation’s Blue Hat Design to Showcase Award-Winning Portable Church Solution and Present Informative Sessions at Worship Facilities Expo

Article posted on November 17, 2015

TI Mobile Pro, Technical Innovation’s all-in-one portable AVL & Staging System, will be highlighted in the firm’s booth during WFX in Nashville. An innovative approach addressing a growing trend, TI Mobile Pro puts outreach within reach by equipping multi-purpose community spaces or gymnasiums with high-production worship service capability.

TI’s Blue Hat Design will be exhibiting a fully-configured, working setup of the award-winning TI Mobile Pro Portable Church Solution, which is designed to meet the growing trend of churches using less-conventional community spaces for their satellite Sunday services. TI Mobile Pro is a full audio, video and lighting (AVL) solution contained in a set of touring cases for easy transport and storage that can be set up and torn down in just 60 minutes by church volunteers.

“Across America, community centers and school gymnasiums are being repurposed into houses of worship, bringing live or pre-recorded worship services and teaching into local communities,” says Michael Wright, President of TI’s Blue Hat Design. “As with any meaningful worship experience, the Message and music must be clearly received, with each worshipper fully engaged. As the trend for satellite locations grows, so have the available solutions. This was the inspiration for TI Mobile Pro.”

This easy, durable, high-production-value system boasts a fully-integrated AVL system including audio mixers, microphone packages, speakers, HD video capability, LED lighting, connectivity and staging components. TI Blue Hat Design also trains staff and volunteers at each location to master setup, operation, and tear-down of the system. Excited to extend beyond their main campus, reaching thousands in the surrounding communities, Dustin Whitt, Production Director of 12Stone Church exclaimed, “TI’s Mobile Pro made it possible for us to launch five new campuses simultaneously.”

TI’s Blue Hat Design will be at booth 721 at WFX, hosted in the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee on Nov. 18 and 19.

In addition to the Expo Hall exhibit, TI’s Blue Hat Design will also feature two of their industry experts, each giving a presentation on relevant topics facing today’s houses of worship. Audio Design Engineer Scott Clark will host a session on perceived loudness versus measured sound pressure level in a space. “Audio: Front of House Volume - How to Make the Congregation Happy” will explore the critical elements necessary to create sound in a space, as well as take a look at uniformity of tone and sound pressure level in a space based on different types of sound system designs. This session will be held in Room 205A on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2-3 p.m.

On Thursday, Nov. 19, Wright will be presenting on “Multi-Site Facilities: Portable Church Options” in Room 202C, 8-9 a.m. This session will focus on identifying the risks and rewards of a multi-site expansion while receiving a step-by-step model for the planning and deployment of portable church systems. Attendees will also learn how “out-of-the-box” thinking can lead to new operational models and gain new tools to properly manage and measure the effectiveness of multi-site expansion projects.
