The PanaCast Whiteboard is a computer vision software that detects content on an existing whiteboard in a conference room or classroom and displays the content as its own individual video stream in any video conferencing app. PanaCast Whiteboard automatically improves image quality and corrects distortion of the whiteboard image, and presents to third-party video conferencing applications as a virtual camera. This software also allows you to deliver the PanaCast panoramic camera view while sharing whiteboard content, letting remote participants view the entire room while simultaneously focusing on the shared whiteboard content. The solution enhances communication experience and improves participant engagement.

The PanaCast 2 camera system provides a unique advantage  - a 180° panoramic field of view, which can capture everything in the room including all participants and all whiteboard content. The PanaCast Vision application takes video input from PanaCast 2 and can provide two different outputs - (1) a virtual whiteboard video stream as a virtual camera or (2) a content share window of the enhanced whiteboard image. The application exposes whiteboard related control features to enhance the whiteboard viewing experience. The proprietary algorithm automatically corrects whiteboard distortion and alleviates glare, shadows or reflection.
