Event Master products now shipping and ready for rental
Posted on Thursday, December 3, 2015
Kortrijk, Belgium, 3 December 2015 – Global visualization technology leader Barco is happy to announce that its latest Event Master image processing products are now shipping. Launched at this year’s InfoComm, the S3-4K compact screen management system and EC-50 controller are currently available for hire through all major rental companies.

“Following the overwhelming success of our E2 4K screen management system, we’re proud that the other Event Master family members are gaining traction so quickly as well,” says Andreas Yerocostas, R&D Director Image Processing at Barco. “Proof of their popularity? The leading cross-rental companies have already invested in the products.”

More flexibility
“Almost a decade ago I started Evolve Media by investing in a single ScreenPRO-II. Over the years, I have learned that an investment in the Barco image processing products is something you never second guess,” comments Tyler Mayne from Evolve Media. “The products are robust, future-proof, and always in demand. We were thrilled to add the S3-4K screen management system and EC-50 controller to our rental fleet this fall – and we already see high demand for these exciting new products.”

Because every hero needs a sidekick
The S3-4K, the smaller version of the E2, boasts the same processing performance and image quality and features 12 input channels, 4 PROGRAM outputs, 4 AUX outputs and 2 dedicated Multiviewer outputs. Compatible with both the S3-4K and E2 screen management systems, the EC-50 event controller is a compact, highly versatile control surface that provides instant access and excellent situational awareness for a multitude of event applications. It gives fingertip control over source, preset, layer and destination selection, along with a second touch-enabled display.
