Barco OpSpace debuts at DistribuTECH 2016
Barco is once again breaking new ground in networked control room visualization with its revolutionary Operator Workspace aka “OpSpace”: the first personal workspace enabling control room operators to work more efficiently by integrating viewing and control over standard IP networks with low latency. See it live at DistribuTECH 2016 in Booth #1533 from February 9-11 in Orlando, Florida!

One view, total control
Launched earlier this month, OpSpace provides operators with a personalized, concurrent view of applications, remote desktops and video streams, freely combining them onto a single, high-resolution canvas spanning multiple displays on the operator’s desk. Operators simply use one mouse and keyboard to control all applications, experiencing a complete overview of the situation – from detailed network distribution information to topological overviews of the service area – from the comfort of a single chair.

“We are excited to share our latest solution purpose-built to streamline the busy workday of control room operators, allowing them to work in a more focused, comfortable and intuitive way,” comments Stephen Diebold, Market Director Industrial and Government for Barco. “Our new OpSpace puts the operator at the center of control with access to all information within easy reach to speed analysis and decision-making.”

Barco is also showcasing several of its industry-leading collaborative visualization solutions at DistribuTECH:
