Would our laser projection technology make you go more to the movies? Well, we asked the audience at the Estonian Forum Cinemas and a resounding 77% said yes! Hear it from the customers themselves It’s easy for us, of course, to claim that our Flagship Laser projector offers an unequalled moviegoing experience. Yet there is no one better to confirm our claim than the cinema exhibitors and their audience themselves. That’s why Barco conducted a survey amongst moviegoers at Coca Cola Plaza – the flagship theater of the leading Forum Cinemas group in Tallinn, Estonia. Kirstjan Kongo: “Coco Cola Plaza is our premium theater, featuring comfortable seats, a large screen and the best sound and image quality available. We chose Barco’s Flagship Laser projector as it offers exceptional image quality, while also ensuring low Total Cost of Ownership.” 

Image quality? 50% gives a top score of 5/5  The investment was a smart one, or so it appears from the Barco survey. When asked to rate the laser image quality on a scale from 0 to 5, laser technology got a brilliant average mark of 4.4. Half of the respondents actually gave it the top score of 5/5! The respondents said they don’t mind the slightly higher ticket price for a movie screened with laser. An astounding 77% said that laser would make them go to the movies more often!
