Are your devices compatible with ClickShare?

Oct. 6, 2021 - If you consider installing ClickShare at the center of your hybrid meeting room, we give you this quick checklist to see if all your solutions are interoperable.

As an IT manager you want to ensure you’ve got the right tech to organize smooth, hybrid collaboration between employees, no matter where they are. You’re looking for tech that is fast to deploy, with a minimal of hassle, frictions or extra costs like licenses. And you want your meeting room ecosystems – and their users – to reach their full potential.

Make sure all devices (AV peripherals, display, …) work together seamlessly. That’s why there is ClickShare, the solution that ties your meeting room ecosystem together. It connects you all the devices and enables wireless conferencing and content sharing with just one click from you laptop, for the easiest user experience. But how do you know if your devices are compatible with ClickShare?

Do the quick compatibility check...

ClickShare Conference is agnostic: it works with any device (laptop, tablet, smartphone), any UC&C platform for true Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM): Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex by Cisco, … and has the widest compatibility with different AV peripherals in the market. So, chances are high that your existing or desired peripherals are compatible with ClickShare.

2 configurations are possible

All-in-one device (camera and speakerphone in 1 device with 1 USB output) with USB 2.0

Set-up of 1 camera and 1 speakerphone (integrated speaker and microphone) with USB 2.0

Pay attention if:

You want to connect multiple devices?

Connect your devices via USB switch. Make sure only 1 camera and 1 speakerphone are active at any point in time.

Your device requires more power?

Connect your device with a USB-C or via a powered USB hub.

You have an HDMI camera?

Use a HDMI to USB converter to connect your camera.

We don’t support:

  • Separate microphone and speaker (even when connected via USB)
  • Microphone in camera or in display (without being part of a speakerphone)
  • Audio over HDMI when speakerphone connected
