The ULS1-HideAway is a patented design created for multi-use classrooms. The instructor’s LCD can be hidden below the lid when not in use. Keyboard and mouse can also be concealed by closing the drawer.
If an instructor chooses to bring their own laptop computer for class, this hide-away lectern includes tabletop power plugs and cord manager for holding laptop connectors (VGA, RJ45, Audio, USB, etc.).
Although a locking front door is optional for this cabinet, most of our customers prefer the “open-access” concept. Equipment can be secured using a variety of methods that do NOT require distributing keys to all faculty members (security cables, custom face plates combined with security screws, etc.).
- Unit is ideal for tight space requirements (30” x 30” footprint).
- Flip-up side surface is ideal for document camera, extra workspace or wheelchair keyboard platform.
- 24”H rack opening is included on the face of the cabinet for mounting flat shelves or equipment (CPU, VCR, DVD, controller, amp, etc). A locking rear access panel is a standard feature for this cabinet.
