Amsterdam, The Netherlands – February 5, 2018 – Crestron, a global leader in enterprise control and automation technology, announced today that the upcoming release of Crestron Pyng platform will support integration of video control and all the benefits of Crestron DigitalMedia, in particular. The update represents a quantum leap forward, making it simple to configure and control the full Crestron smart home experience – control of lights, shades, audio, door locks, security systems, thermostats, and now video. Crestron is demonstrating the upcoming release in Hall-2, Stand 2-C20 at ISE 2018, 6 – 9 February, 2018.

“The addition of video and DM support elevates the power of Crestron Pyng to an entirely new level for homeowners and Crestron integrators, alike, making it possible to modify scenes, schedules, TV presets, and much more,” said Michael Short, Global Residential Marketing Manager at Crestron.

Key features
The new release will support display and source control, room and source selection, volume control for groups and other rooms, video routing via DM® and DM NVX Series, audio and video grouping, user profiles, and TV presets based on zip code and provider.

Crestron Pyng enabled products
The Crestron Pyng platform supports a wide array of best-in-class third-party products. Crestron Certified device drivers can easily be downloaded via the MyCrestron Cloud service.
