The Video DeMist II is a real time automatic video enhancer. It improves the quality of video obscured by fog, rain, or other atmospheric conditions. It also automatically adjusts night time images for better viewing. Competing systems remove fog from camera video by controlling contrast or color curve, or applying gamma correction algorithms. The Video DeMist II relies on a high-quality FPGA solution that automatically sets 256 filter levels. The system features a 3D noise reduction filter to remove noise and provide clear video. The Video DeMist II is available in a portable single channel unit – ideal for outdoor video shoots – or a 10 channel stand alone unit.
