PureLink, a leading provider of UHD video connectivity solutions for audio/video professionals worldwide, announced today the introduction of a new product to its PureStream line of modular IP Video solutions: the VIP-300H-U encoders and decoders. The VIP-300H-U Series UltraHD 4K HDMI and USB/KM over IP extension system allows users to transport UHD 4K video, audio, RS-232, IR, and USB distribution and matrix switching capabilities over IP networks. The product brings to the market the only IP Video system that can transport 4K signals across both CAT and Fiber networks. It also features the easy creation of video wall arrays, allowing multiple source configurations (up to 8 x 8).
The product features UHD 4K60 input and ultra-low latency. It utilizes the high quality, proprietary PureStreamX Ultra codec, and offers both standard CAT connections and optional fiber SFP modules. It can be used in conjunction with PureLink’s VPX IP Video Management Software. The VPX software provides automatic discovery of VIP transmitters and receivers and features an intuitive browser-based UI that allows users access from virtually any operating system or wireless device. The system was developed to ease the compatibility issues that arise when merging traditional A/V and IT formats. PureLink’s PureStream IP video solutions address these issues by combining hardware and software based solutions to simplify setup, discovery, and operation.
