The RCCP-2A-STS Robotic Camera Control Panel builds on the basic RCCP-2A panel with fully integrated studio (STS) software and a large touchscreen display to provide the premiere controller for robotic camera operations in television broadcast and production facilities, entertainment venues, corporate facilities, and educational institutions.

Built-in reFrame™ Automatic Shot Framing and Tracking technology keeps on-screen talent perfectly framed and automatically corrects when talent has unexpectedly shifted—without the operator having to manually touch the control panel.

Additional features added with the STS software include 3D Studio View that allows a graphic display to be selected by the operator to work with a 3D representation of their studio environment and quickly see the location and orientation of any robotics and set pieces within that space. A 3D model of the user’s studio can also be imported into the panel to be processed and integrated with the software, providing complete positional awareness of all studio robotics in order to make the operator’s job a lot easier. The Studio view can also display user-configurable "go" zones of travel for multiple OmniGlides to restrict their movements in relation to each other and to existing studio obstacles and thus avoid problems; without ever having to manually touch the rover.

The STS software also includes a selectable Robotics Status display to show all major robotics parameters—such as pan/tilt angles, elevation height, rotational status, lens information, and OmniGlide™ positional data—for any selected camera, at a glance.

With internal 2-channel video capture, the system also includes the ability to snapshot thumbnails for presetting shots, and for live video preview.
