Article posted on Jul 1, 2019

Trenton, ON –  Interactive Audio Visual was recently contracted to design and integrate a large scale audio messaging solution for the newly reopened National Air Force Museum located at Canadian Forces Base Trenton.  The client was looking for a customized multi-zoned public address / audio system to be utilized inside the museum and the outside aircraft park.  Their goal was to utilize this system for all PA requirements, background music, and specific music for special events.

After extensive consultation IAV recommended, designed, and integrated a powerful yet simple solution that would address all the clients’ unique requirements by utilizing the Q-SYS Core Platform from QSC.  Q-SYS represents the latest advance in QSC’s long history of defining the state of the art in audio routing and control systems. This system offers the client total control and flexibility throughout their facility.

Some of the key features of the system include:

  • Multi-zone Public address system
  • User controlled zone specific audio
  • System programmable pre-recorded announcement messaging
  • Over 90 QSC speakers distributed throughout the facility offering 100% audio coverage
  • QSYS system controlled by 8” QSC Touch panel
  • 5 call stations throughout the facility
