Capitol Improvements

Whether it is a local city council meeting or state/federal government session–every seat counts when it comes to seeing and hearing. This is a priority at the Wyoming State Capitol building. Originally built in 1888, it recently concluded a four-year renovation that included restoration of historical architecture, new construction and major technology updates throughout. New technology spreads across the Capitol and is found in all major meeting spaces, including the House and Senate Legislative Chambers. These rooms feature large displays and each individual desk includes a designated microphone and custom loudspeaker to help contain the sound reinforcement close to the listener. Conference spaces include interactive touch displays capable of teleconferencing and streaming through built-in cameras, microphone arrays and speakers.
