Digital Projection International proudly introduces the dVision 35-1080p 3D, the first 3D-capable member of the dVision series. The ultra-quiet, dual lamp dVision 3D enlists single-chip DLP technology to produce up to 2900 ANSI lumens and contrast ratios up to 7500:1. A motorized lens aperture allows the user to accurately define brightness and contrast to match venue and content requirements. Utilizing dual lamps and dual color wheels, the dVision 3D featuresa unique X-port architecture makes upgrading input connectivity asimple field process. The projector utilizes state of the art electronics to accept multiple 3D formats and display them at a full 1920 X 1080, 120Hz. Synchronization with 3D glasses can be done either via IR or DLP link. In addition, the projector can be outfitted with an optional LCD modulator to be used with simple and inexpensive passive 3D glasses. What makes this 3D projector so unique is its capability to be finetuned for both 2D and 3D applications. It has 2X 300 watt lamps with an adjustable iris allowing for a maximum light output of 2900 lumens for full 3D brightness, or in single lamp, closed iris mode, a minimum of 700 lumens. Full 10 bit color resolution, with no compromise is achieved throughout the range of illumination. Via simple IR or RS232 commands, (or IP control), the projector can be optimized for 2D or 3D viewing in a variety of room lighting conditions. Combine all these features with 7 lens options and easy ceiling or table mounting and the dVision 3D becomes the most flexible mid priced projector in the market. The X-port backplane allows the integrator to easily configure the projector to accept HDMI 1.4a inputs, high resolution display port, or even professional HDSDI inputs. Dual link DVI is also standard. A flexible array of ultra-accurate optics delivers throw ratios as short as .75:1 and as long as 6.5:1. The dVision's quick-change motorized lens mount provides an extensive range of horizontal and vertical lens shift. Every dVision is also equipped with a motorized light shutter and a backlit projector information display, which provides users with all relevant data regarding the projector's operating status.
