Apantac Launches Multi-Format Clean Switch at InfoComm 2014

Portland, Oregon, USA – June 2, 2014 – Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, matrices, extenders, and signal processing solutions is launching a new Multi-Format Clean Switch at InfoComm 2014, booth number N918.

The new MT HOOD Multi-Format Clean Switch (Model: CLN-SW-6x1-M) is a versatile and cost-effective 6x1 clean switch for HDMI, VGA, DVI, and YPbPr formats. It seamlessly switches and manages this complete range of multi-format sources and is ideal for a multitude of professional AV applications.

The latest clean switching technology developed by Apantac ensures the user is able to switch between multiple formats without the normal screen glitches and random noises. It is a powerful clean/quiet switch that offers 3 clean HDMI inputs, 1 YPbPr input, 1 VGA input, and 1 DVI output, and 1 quiet output. Inputs include embedded audio providing a fully featured multi-format clean switch.

Key features of the new CLN-SW-6x1-M Multi-Format Clean Switch include:
  • Up/down/cross conversion for multiple format input and output  
  • De-interlacing (interlace to progressive conversion)
  • Maximum output resolution of 1080P 60Hz
  • Inputs consists of 3 x HDMI, 1 x YPbPr w/Audio, 1 x VGA w/Audio, 1 x DVI w/Audio
  • Ethernet, RS232 control
  • IR remote control
  • EDID management
The CLN-SW-6x1-M is ideal for classrooms, other educational applications, live presentations, among many other applications where multi-format clean switching is a requirement. 

The new MT HOOD Multi-Format Clean Switch has been developed in parallel with the new HDMI Clean Switch (Model: CLN-SW-6x1-H), which is also being launched and demonstrated at InfoComm 2014, booth N918.
