The AAP-1741 is a high quality, 24-bit analog audio processor that can process up to four analog channels. It can be used as a standalone audio processor for discrete audio signals or it can be combined with a wide range of SD & HD video cards. When working in conjunction with a video card, the AAP-1741 can be used for dynamic processing, up or downmixing, and/or to embed audio into the video signal. Two audio processing cards can be combined together to process more discreet audio channels. When combining two cards together, all of the audio processing is synchronous and kept in phase ensuring proper alignment and matched delay. A ribbon connector carrying audio, timing signals and metadata links the card(s).
