The CA Series consists of compact passive full-range high-performance speakers from various performance classes. In the mid-high range, all systems possess rotatable horn-driver combinations with a defined dispersion pattern and, depending on the model, are extremely well-suited for short or medium listening distances. In order to increase the coverage angle and the maximum sound pressure, several systems can be combined as clusters. In doing so, the extremely constant directivity guarantees a homogenous sound distribution. A well thought-out enclosure design and functional accessories enable a flexible application in any number of PA system uses. In order to achieve excellent acoustic qualities even in passive set-ups, carefully tuned compensation and equalization filters are used in the crossover. In some systems, additional complex all-pass filters were utilized to perfect the phase response and group delay. The result is a barely noticeable transition from the direct emitter to the horn driver and a dispersion characteristic which has a homogenous progression in all dispersion plans.

Efficient protection circuits provide for maximum operating safety. Almost all enclosures are equipped with a monitor angle or can be equipped with one (option 'M'). Additionally, it is possible to create monitor pairs (horn to horn) by using the option 'AS' (Axial Symmetry). The axial symmetry results in a higher concentration in the mid-high range and minimizes phasing problems. All models of the CA Series can also be used without additional system electronics. With the K&F CD 44 Digital System Controller and the K&F TOPAS, there are optimal components available which control the CA Series and are applied for the active multi-way mode with K&F subwoofers from the SW and ACCESS Series.
