Trenton’s BPX6806 PCI Express backplane is designed to support up to eighteen PCIe plug-in I/O cards and a PICMG 1.3 single board computer. Four of the eighteen x16 PCIe mechanical card slots are driven with x8 PCIe electrical links. The remaining fourteen x16 mechanical card slots are driven with x4 PCIe electrical links.
