The P.Audio Compact 6.4 is a small-format speaker for use in background / foreground applications for installations. The Compact 6.4's is cosmetically attractive and it is well suited for use in retail and public spaces for background music and paging applications. Its 6-inch woofer features a special coating that improves its mechanical damping, thereby improving its vocal intelligibility. It utilizes P Audio's renowned high temperature voice coil to improve both performance and reliability. The Compact 6.4's HF section features a horn-loaded 1-inch mylar dome. The Compact 6.4 provides smooth, balanced low-frequency response and smooth highs with controlled dispersion. The system features a 4-position input switch that enables selection of 8 ohm impedance or 35 watt, 25 watt or 15 watt taps at 70.7 or 100 volts. The Compact 6.4 is available in black and white finishes and is supplied with a load-tested, structural steel U-Bracket for safe permanent installation. The Compact 6.4 is sold and shipped in pairs.
