Overview

The PDW-HD1550 is a compact HD recorder which provides outstanding picture quality of MPEG HD422 as well as an eight-channel (HD-SDI), 24-bit audio recording capability. It inherits many of the features from the PDW-HD1500 and enables you to use triple layer and quad layer Professional Disc media. In addition to higher capacity media support, XAVC HD record/playback capability is offered as an option. What's unique about this deck is its ability to operate on AC, DC or battery power with an adapter. With its large 4.3-inch LCD and built-in speaker, it performs as a versatile and high-quality recorder which is suitable for both in-house and field operations. It comes equipped with multi-format up/down converter, which is highly useful when employing both HD- and SD-format materials at the same time. The PDW-HD1550 also enables the archiving of MXF files from SxS cards or portable drives onto Professional Disc. It supports SBAC-US20 SxS Card Reader, PSZ-HA50 or PSZ-HA1T hard drive portable storage, and PSZ-SA25 solid state drive portable storage.
