Clarus Cable's new phono cables are designed to support high quality signal transmission when combined with moving coil (MC) or moving magnet (MM) phono cartridges. The new Crimson and Aqua Phono Cables are engineered to reject external noises, while maintaining the integrity of low-level phono signals with full dynamic range capabilities.
The company explains the cables employ a combination of single-ended pairs, along with a 14AWG silver-plated PCCC ground cable. The ground cable within the newly announced phono cables provide a solid ground connection to help ensure a turntable’s mechanical system is operating on the same ground plane as the phono stage component to prevent 60-cycle hum.
The new phono cables are packaged and sold in pairs, and the cables are custom-made to order in Orlando, Fla.
