The 4" voice coil maximizes thermal power handling, allowing live concert sound pressure levels for extended periods without fear of driver failure. Proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is employed for all crossover functions, time correction, and very high resolution frequency response shaping, eliminating restrictive passive filter networks from the signal path. With signal filtration achieved prior to amplification, the output stage of each amp channel is directly wired to the input terminals of its associated driver, maximizing power transfer and control. Bass is tight and accurate, and delivered with the visceral slam experienced in the commercial theater or concert setting.
