6.5-in 2-Way Coaxial Ceiling Loudspeaker

The CIS65 (6.55-inch driver, coaxial) ceiling loudspeaker is outfitted with an auxiliary HF cone coupled to the LF cone to provide a smoother, more extended frequency response in comparison to other 6.5-inch drivers. It is supplied with an integral multi-tap 70/100V line transformer adjustable by a connector on the transformer. The steel backcan is fitted with unique clamps that can significantly reduce installation time. The driver/baffle assembly then easily installs in the pre-mounted backcan with spring-loaded hardware. The CIS65 is designed for flush-mounted ceiling installation. The HF and LF drivers are coaxially mounted for smooth frequency response and symmetrical projection pattern. The result is acoustic performance not generally associated with a commercial ceiling speaker in this price range. The polypropylene LF cone and Mylar HF dome provide stable operation in varying environmental conditions.
