We designed and installed an interactive and dynamic AV system for a modern classroom, designed to facilitate collaborative learning and enhance student engagement. The classroom features tables around the room, each equipped with a 55" LG TV, mounted on Extron LSM1U mounts for optimal viewing angles and flexibility.
The system includes a TT-12D camera, positioned for dynamic video capture, allowing the instructor to engage with students across the room. At the core of the AV system are multiple Extron switchers, seamlessly routing audio and video to each display. For centralized control, an Extron TLP Pro 1022T touch panel offers an intuitive interface, giving the instructor complete control over the system’s settings.
The Extron DTP CrossPoint 108 4K with built-in control processor, audio DSP, and audio amplifier ensures high-quality video distribution across all displays, with customizable switching of both audio and video. Additionally, Extron Cable Cubby 1400 and 500 provide convenient and organized connectivity for devices, while Extron SW HD 4W, & IN1604 switchers manage additional signal routing. The audio system includes two Extron SI 3C LP speakers, ensuring clear sound throughout the classroom.
All equipment is housed in a Middle Atlantic rack, ensuring tidy and secure organization, with power management provided by an Middle Atlantic power strip. This advanced AV setup creates an immersive, flexible, and interactive learning environment for students and instructors alike.
