The Model X glass will turn on automatically by opening the temples and turn off automatically when not used or if you fold the temples. You may need to gently twist or jiggle the temples to activate when first used or to remove and reinsert the batteries to make good contact. Emitter’s LED light must be RED continuous for Gen 2 Emitter(round ball)--other colors are for other type glasses.
