Natural cork self-adhesive skin is made with finely grained natural cork offering superior resiliency and tack-holding properties. Cork is an environmentally friendly, naturally renewable resource. Harvested from trees that are stripped of their bark when they are 15 to 20 years old, cork is taken with carefully made cuts that do not harm the inner core of the tree. The cork bark regrows, and this process allows a useful life of more than 150 years for each tree. Self-adhesive skins feature a peel-and-stick backing that applies easily to an existing board.
