Corrects scrambled bits caused by noise which typically occurs over Bursty fiber or RF. Features industry compatible algorithms for alleviation of dropped or scrambled bits. Fixes dropped pixels and lines when transmitting video over noisy transport. Adds no jitter or packet loss. Generally used in pairs, but also works with other pro-MPEG compatible devices.
The FEC Box IP IP™ is a very small, DC brick powered, computing device with two 10/100 Ethernet jacks. The purpose of the device is to ensure UDP traffic, specifically RTP packets, reach their destination even when errors occur during transmission.
