The WAVES BDLS-4-22 are rugged bi-directional sound projectors with two 5-1/4" full-range twin-cone speakers, one at either end of the rugged extruded aluminum housing. This model offers long-term reliability and even coverage for distributed audio, including transformer and stainless steel hardware. It is is ideally suited for outdoor installations such as transportation facilities, parking garages and military complexes. The BDLS loudspeaker is rated at 40 watts; 94 dB at 1 watt, 1 meter. The speakers have weather-treated twin cones, a 110° dispersion at both ends and a smooth extended response over a range of 190-17,000 Hz. Its 70.7/25-volt transformer has 40, 20, 10 and 5- watt power taps. The 70.7-volt transformer impedance is 12, 250, 500, 1K, and the 25-volt transformer impedance is 15.6, 31.25, 62.5, 125.
