The LINK 1190 Frame Synchronizer represents the state of the art in digital signal synchronization. It's input is asynchronous component serial digital video, which is de-serialized and written into the on-board frame buffer. The output is read from memory according to the timebase of the analog blackburst reference signal. Front panel horizontal and vertical phase adjustments control the output timing relative to the reference. When used in conjunction with our A-to-D and D-to-A products, analog signals may be synchronized to a house reference as well. LED's on the card edge provide monitoring of Power, Video Presence Analog, Video Presence Digital, NTSC/PAL, and H Lock Analog. The 1190 can be used with the DigiFlex 1159, 1160, 1162, 1165, 1166, or 1167 to synchronize composite or component analog signals to the system. The Link 1190 is used either ahead of the conversion device or behind the conversion device. This provides the user with a great deal of system flexibility. There are over 24 system configurations. The 1190 provides for both PAL and NTSC reference inputs. Timing for both Horizontal and Vertical are controlled from the front panel. The 1190 operates in the 1000 series frame in any module configuration. This is not a sub-module, it is a full featured product. When the input video is lost the output will either be black or the last good frame of video, jumper selectable. If the reference video is lost, the 1190 will use it's own internal timebase with 2.5ppm stability standard. The 1190 has automatic NTSC/PAL digital detection on the input signal. The analog reference input must match the input signal.
