Two days packed with lectures and presentations of the latest trends in the residential market. New products were also presented, offering a glimpse of the future of intercoms and answering units. Take a look at 2N’s future direction and see how to get the most from it.

70 distributors from all over the world attended the 2N Distributor Summit, flying into Prague to see all of the amazing new products presented to them directly by the company’s senior management. In turn, we also gained a lot of interesting information from their observations as well as valuable feedback from the market.

The 2N Distributor Summit is held every year at the company’s headquarters in Mod?any, Prague, and this year was another great success in all aspects. The summit included an excursion for visitors to the different company departments where our products are developed, tested and produced.

Invited guests included the new Axis Director of New Business Martin Andersen, who reported that the summit’s organisation and content were professional and that he enjoyed his time at 2N immensely.

Distributors heard CEO of 2N Michal Kratochvíl speak about the company’s ambitious plans for the next five years, announcing the objective to become the top intercom manufacturer in Europe and North America.

Our new flagship products, the 2N® IP Style intercom with 10" touchscreen display and the 2N® Indoor View 7" answering unit also saw their first appearance at the summit. We are convinced that their features will rank them as the very best access control system products on the market. The prototypes can be seen in the video, and you can start counting on using these products in your projects soon.

Other speakers talked about a very important topic at 2N—integration. In terms of the residential market, we provided a demonstration of the ever-increasing integration options in the 2N® Partner API and introduced the forthcoming 2N Integration Hub project. What exactly is the 2N Integration Hub? For the time being, we will be keeping that to ourselves, but you certainly have a lot to look forward to!

We also discussed other interesting topics at the summit, such as why My2N is the best cloud platform for intercoms, and the role access control systems will play in the future in residential and office buildings.
