The MolSmart MS-B008 Relay Board 8-Channel is a professional-grade Ethernet and WiFi relay module built for demanding home and building automation installations. Designed for DIN rail mounting, it features 8 independent relay outputs — each rated at 10A — along with 8 digital inputs, providing full bidirectional I/O in a single efficient module.

The MS-B008 integrates natively via TCP/IP with the most widely used automation platforms in the professional AV market, including Control4, Savant, Crestron, RTI, Nice, Hubitat, and Home Assistant. All platform drivers are provided at no additional cost. The Control4 driver is officially certified, delivering guaranteed compatibility and performance in Control4 projects of any scale.

Setup is streamlined through a built-in web interface and a dedicated onboard Access Point (AP), allowing configuration directly from a laptop or tablet without requiring a pre-existing network. Built-in advanced features include native scheduling, on-device scene creation, and a hardware watchdog that automatically recovers the module in the event of a fault. API communication supports both TCP/HTTP and MQTT.

Reliability is enhanced by two independent 12VDC power inputs, both monitored in real time. If one power supply fails, the module continues operating on the second — a critical advantage for professional installations where downtime is not acceptable. When deployed without a central automation controller, the MolSmart native app (iOS and Android) provides full standalone control. Amazon Alexa integration is also supported for voice command capability.
