AMX FURTHER CEMENTS ITS PRESENCE IN MEXICO
New AMX Mexico Office Provides Local Support for Valued Dealers
RICHARDSON, Texas – January 26, 2009 – AMX® announced today the creation of AMX Soluciones Tecnologicas, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a AMX Mexico to deliver comprehensive support to our dealers in Latin America. For years, AMX has grown a substantial dealer base in Mexico, and with the opening of its new office, AMX continues its commitment to provide comprehensive on-site resources to serve its customers’ needs. AMX Mexico will be responsible for all sales, training and technical support in Mexico.

Marcelo Cantú will be head of AMX Mexico office, located at Av. Mariano Escobedo 510, Piso 12, Privado 15; Col. Anzures, Del. Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico DF, CP 11590. Cantú, a respected leader in the AV industry, will help lead strategy on increasing the visibility of AMX solutions, providing dealers with the value added services for the region. Assisting Mr. Cantu in this effort will be Sergio Gaitán, Commercial Manager, whose experience includes systems integration experience at companies including Foto Niza and Extron Electronics.
