Open House at AMX London
Posted on Wednesday, November 17, 2010

LONDON - November 17, 2010 - AMX opened the doors to its London showroom on the 17th and 18th November to mark the second anniversary of the opening of this state-of-the-art facility. AMX customers, dealers and the press turned out in force to celebrate the event and to find out what makes AMX the leading provider in unified control and automation, system-wide switching, audio and video signal distribution, digital signage and technology management.

Through a series of interactive demonstrations, guests were given a guided tour of the company's impressive product range whilst enjoying some AMX hospitality. Visitors were able to find out, first hand, why the HDMI UTPro is the highest performing digital media switcher available today; why distributing multimedia content has never been easier thanks to DTV; and how AMX is taking control of energy management with the NetLinx PDU. Also on display were the very latest innovations in TPControl and each guest was given the opportunity to win an iPad – a prize that was eventually won by Alex Brown from City IS.

"The London showroom has been a fantastic asset for AMX over the last two years, providing an ideal environment to showcase complete integration across all our product lines." Said Kevin Morrison, Managing Director AMX Europe. "The showroom has attracted visitors from the UK, Europe and, indeed, from around the world and it is great to have the opportunity to celebrate with some of those visitors here today."

Located in the centre of London, the prestigious 6,000 square foot facility houses a state-of-the-art product showroom which features a working demonstration of the entire range of makes, models, colours and configurations of AMX products. There is also a fully-equipped board room, complete with audio/video conferencing equipment. This impressive resource allows customers to experience the real world applications of AMX technologies and software and acts as a full-time training centre for AMX University.
