Atlona HDVS receiver boxes were designed to smooth the transition from analog to digital displays in schools and businesses, allowing advanced HDMI display devices to be used with the many VGA computers still in use. HDBaseT and power over category cable (PoCc™) allow signal and power over a single category cable, with RS-232 control capability.

Analog to Digital

Ideal for schools, Atlona HDVS receiver boxes allow advanced HDMI displays to easily switch between HDMI sources (computers, Blu-ray players, or document cameras) and legacy VGA computers. In a simple system HDVS can function as a complete input and control module; as part of larger and more complex applications HDVS enables HDMI and VGA/analog audio input to larger HDMI/HDBaseT switchers.

The receiver offers HDBaseT input and a scaled HDMI output (with de-embedded audio) and is compatible with any HDBaseT transmitter including distribution amplifier and switchers. It’s ideal for mixing multiple incompatible displays from a single source.

Complete Control at Longer Distances

Atlona HDVS receiver boxes feature RS-232 control of image adjustments including a variety of output resolutions to match your display. In a simple system using the HDVS-TX-WP and the RX, the display can be turned off and on from the wall plate. RS-232 commands must be programmed with easy-to-use, included software (requires computer with RS-232 output and basic knowledge of RS-232 command structure). When used in a larger and more complex system, it is compatible with major control systems.

  • Note:HDBaseT allows up to 230ft (70m) of uninterrupted 1080p signal. Distances may vary based on installation and cable. Typical maximum distances are 230ft @ 1080p over CAT6a/7; 197ft @ 1080p over CAT5e/6; 130ft @ 4Kx2K over CAT5e/6T
