The 1533 is an interface between the 1500 and telephone systems. It can allow a cordless telephone to function as a counter station, or it can allow remote operation of drive up communications via telephone. Multiple 1533 interfaces can be used in one system, either with or without Model 1500 Counter Stations. The primary application allows bank tellers or pharmacists to use a cordless phone with a headset as a supplement to the Counter Station. The teller or pharmacist may travel within the range of a cordless phone while monitoring or serving customers in the drive-up lane.
