Sept. 5, 2022 - When talking to our customers about their needs for immersive installations, there's one thing that always comes back. It's the importance of having invisible technology. Besides the obvious requirements such as high-quality and reliability, integrators and end-customers are looking for solutions that are versatile. We listen. We hear your needs. And so, we launch two new ultra short-throw lenses and an additional G62 projector.

The main purpose of technology is to support your story. The Barco projectors are designed to be least intrusive in your set-up. With their compact size, the G62 and F80 models are the perfect match for space-restricted installations. And the wide lens range of the series allow for optimal configuration options and smooth integration.

Working with the Barco ultra short-throw lenses allows you to increase the image size or shorten the projection distance. To open up your possibilities we added two new ultra-short throw zoom lenses to our portfolio with a throw ratio of 0.37-0.4 for extreme flexibility. There's the G-lens 0.37-0.4:1 UST 90° for the G62 projectors and the GLD-lens 0.37-0.4:1 UST 90° for the F80 projectors.

G62 adds new projector to the family

In addition, we're welcoming a new member to the G62 family. We already had the G62-W9 and G62-W11 launched in Spring 2022. Now we're adding a 13,500 lumens model to the portfolio. And of course, just like the other models, the G62-W14 will be available in both black and white chassis to blend and integrate seamlessly in different environments.

The G-series and F-series single-chip projectors have convinced many customers already with its price-performance ratio and wide lens capabilities resulting in some beautiful references in the themed entertainment industry like the impressive Museum of the Future in Dubai or the awarded KSA pavilion for Expo 2020. The G62-W14 is ready to shine in similar projects.
