Sept. 20, 2022 - On Wednesday 15 September, a delegation of Collins Aerospace visited the Barco headquarters. The reason? Along with business discussions, the handover of the 'Premier Award for overall excellence in Technology & Innovation', an annual recognition under the Raytheon Technology Performance+ Program.

Raytheon Technologies is a world leader in the aerospace and defense markets. Through its business segment Collins Aerospace, the company uses technology to improve all aspects of aviation. With the Premier Award, the company recognizes suppliers with superior performance, that have provided exceptional value. Barco has been awarded with the Premier Award for overall excellence in Technology & Innovation, one of the four categories.

In 2021, Barco has worked with Collins Aerospace on multiple projects. Projectors used in Collins’ innovative simulation systems include Barco’s F70 and FL40 projectors.

Cut the cakeThe delegation of Collins Aerospace were welcomed at the Barco headquarters in Kortrijk (Belgium), and taken on a tour through our Experience Center.
