Oct. 7, 2022 - Breast Cancer Awareness Month has started! We hope you'll get to see a lot of pink in your area, as support initiatives kick off. 

Also at Barco, we’re mobilizing our workforce across the globe to collect money for organizations that strive to support breast cancer patients and their families.

Our cycling club in Kortrijk, Belgium, kicked off the month with a Pink Bike Ride, which all of our colleagues can support throughout the month. Their contributions will go to Think Pink, the Belgian breast cancer organization.

Furthermore, there will be a fishing pond at our HQ with awesome prizes. And of course, many of our offices have a stack of pink ribbons for sale.

On top of that, our Taiwan office will host a breast cancer themed tea party, all dressed in pink!

With breast cancer, early detection and accurate diagnosis are the keys to a positive outcome. Getting regular screening tests is very important for that, as breast cancer can pass unnoticed for a long time.

But getting screened can bring up a lot of questions: why now? Who looks at my breast images?
