The ‘Best Technology Initiative Award’ shows how highly healthcare experts value CareConnex, Barco’s interactive patient care solution that KFMC deployed across its prestigious 140-bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

Entertainment, communication and clinical access 
Comprising 18.5” widescreen bedside terminals, mounting arms, back-office systems and interactive patient care software powered by Hospedia, CareConnex offers entertainment and communication services to patients, while providing the hospital staff with seamless clinical access. The local system integrator working with Barco customized the software to ensure that the interface and applications would meet the hospital’s specific needs, such as VoIP telephony, the hospital information system (HIS) and other networked systems. 

More patient comfort, enhanced clinical workflow
