To fulfill the specialized needs of the exhibitor’s smaller theaters, Barco is providing many of its new purpose-built DP2K-10Sx projectors with integrated media servers.

Peru has been experiencing exponential growth in cinema admissions during the past decade, with ticket sales increasing 185 percent in the last seven years according to the latest estimates from Cinedatos Peru’s research. While much of the growth can be attributed to the urbanization and expanding economies of the country’s major cities, growing interest in cinema can also be attributed to modernization of theaters with premium amenities and 3D technology.
