PoE adapter enables both power and data to be carried over one Ethernet cable. This PoE adapter provides full 15.4W of power per port with no additional power management required. Output is equipped with short circuit protection and overload protection as per 802.3af specification. The output can be shorted permanently without damage. Upon power-up the self-test for the internal microprocessor software is started. After the end self-test the DC output voltage is available for powering compliant load (to the 802.3af PoE standards). Once load is attached to the output RJ-45 connector the detection sequence is started. Should the load be non-compliant then the LEDs will blink code signifying the cause for non-detection. Until the correct load is applied, the LEDs will continue to blink. It is applicable for commercial single-room applications, meeting rooms, conference rooms, boardrooms, complete residential home automation.
