The Dugan-VN16 plugs into I/O slot of Avid digital audio mixers. It has three modes of operation standard mode provides sixteen channels of Dugan automatic mixing that are patched using console’s insert patching screen, shared mode provides eight channels of Dugan automatic mixing and eight channels of general purpose ADAT I/O. Dugan automatic mixing channels are patched using VENUE system’s insert patching screen, ADAT I/O mode provides sixteen ADAT I/O channels. To make larger systems, Dugan-VN16 can be linked with external Dugans, including D and E series. Dugan-VN16 can be used out of box or for enhanced features, remote controlled by Dugan Control Panel for Java (included) or Dugan control panel for iPad (purchased separately).
