The Priority Video Alert System forms one important leg of a comprehensive emergency communications strategy. In addition to email, SMS Text messages, flashing lights, and a public address audio system, the Priority Alert System is used to reach people where they are: at their computers. Beyond merely delivering a message, the Priority Video Alert System delivers the most noticeable and compelling message possible: live audio and video that informs with unambiguous, real time information.

The Priority Video Alert system empowers you to deliver live or stored video to an unlimited number of desktops without user action. Users have a small program in their Windows system tray that monitors for an emergency or priority video. Ideal for corporations, schools, universities, and governments...anywhere an emergency or urgent priority event may occur.

*Video -- opens live or stored video on thousands of desktops at the same time.
*Text -- displays color-coded text messages on desktops
*Web -- displays your web page on thousands of desktops at the same time.
*Multicast -- supports live MPEG and WM video, allowing virtually unlimited scale
*Zones -- supports a virtually unlimited number of "zones" (e.g. Building 1, Building 2, Students, Parents, Public, etc.) Alert one, some or all zones
*Highly secure, AES encryption
*Guarantee that the application is free of virus, worms, malware, or "back door" access
*Optional control of network-capable projectors and related equipment

How It Works
The system include a small application that is installed on everyone's Windows computer (MAC version coming soon). The application constantly monitors for your priority alert, which you set by logging into your private, secure web page. You select a preconfigured alert, or you enter a video or web page address, set an expiration time, and specify the zone(s) where you want the alert to apply. When you set the alert, all desktops open a player to display live MPEG or WM video, and/or your specified web page.

For Enterprise customers that have VBrick or similar equipment that delivers multicast video to desktops, a sophisticated desktop application "Priority Alert Multicast Controller" can directly control your priority alerts.

Applications
Unfortunately, events that require emergency notifications in schools are all too common.
